Q: Do you assume we have now in the USA presently in 2022, a capitalist system in place?
Mark Moss: That is an important query. And … I may give you reply for that…
So within the unique “Communist Manifesto” e-book, Karl Marx lays out 10 factors of communism. So he says, with a view to construct a communist society, we want these 10 issues. Okay? That is his phrases, not mine… Quantitatively, the USA has seven of the ten in place.
So, does that make the USA a capitalist society or a communist society? Nicely, we have now seven of the ten issues.
Q: I don’t assume we reside in a capitalist society.
Moss: It’s a spectrum, proper? Lots of people as me like, when was the purpose that we had been essentially the most capitalist? So, it’s a spectrum, proper?
If I’ve to surrender 100% of my cash that I earn to the State, I’m a slave. If I preserve 100%, I’m free. What about after I give 50%? So it’s a scale, proper? So we have now seven of out the ten, so we’re extra communist than free, nevertheless it’s a spectrum, proper?
